For this virtual class, you will receive a bundle in the mail of intuitively picked fabric, a small piece of batting, needle, thread, a peony flower essence, and a copy of Mary Oliver’s poem “Peonies”. We will come together over zoom to dose together, meditate on the poem, and create a small quilt. The idea is that the essence and the poem wash over our spirits to influence the quilt we create. You do not have to be a quilter, or know how to sew, though basic skills are helpful! We’ll talk through the process before we start. We’ll create this small work of art together, an ode to the most lush of flowers.
